This film will be screened in more than 100 countries, including the previously announced releases in the US, Canada, and Mexico, starting from October 13th.

In the UK, the concert film of Taylor Swift’s massive era tour will be shown in British cinemas this October, eight months before it actually arrives in the UK.

Taylor Swift’s ‘The Era Tour’ will run in over 100 countries from October 13th, the same day it premieres in the US, Canada, and Mexico.

The film, which was recorded in California’s SoFi Stadium in August, broke records in its first three nights of showing, earning a record $37 million on its opening day of American presale.

Directed by Sam Rinc, who has previously directed concert films for Billie Eilish and Lizzo, the film was independently produced by Taylor Swift Productions.

The film’s runtime is 165 minutes, so it may not include the complete setlist of the era tour, which spans 44 songs and lasts for over three hours. No further details about the film’s content have been provided.

In the US, adult tickets have been priced at $19.89 in reference to the upcoming release of Taylor Swift’s 2014 album ‘1989,’ while tickets for children and seniors are priced at $13.13, a nod to the 33-year-old singer’s lucky number. In the UK, ticket prices for the concert ranged from £58 up to over £660 for top-tier VIP packages.

‘The Era Tour’ film will be Taylor Swift’s fourth concert film, following similar documentaries for her albums ‘Fearless,’ ‘1989,’ and ‘Reputation,’ and her previously unreleased concert film for her 2019 album ‘Lover,’ which was postponed due to the pandemic.

In 2020, Swift released ‘Miss Americana,’ a behind-the-scenes documentary directed by Lana Wilson that spans from 2018 to 2019, featuring Swift searching for her political voice, battling body dysmorphia and eating disorders, and addressing her mother’s cancer diagnosis.

Swift is making her feature directorial debut with ‘Swift Searchlight Pictures.’ No further details have been provided. Swift has been directing or co-directing all her music videos since ‘ME!’ released in 2019!

The ‘Eras Tour UK’ will take place in June 2024, starting in Edinburgh. Ticket sales were less frantic compared to the US, where Ticketmaster’s practices prompted government mistrust, although many fans expressed frustration with an opaque system that didn’t reveal ticket prices until the buyer reached checkout and had only 90 seconds to decide whether to proceed.
