A 15-year-old girl was Stabbed to death in Croydon
Metropolitan Police have reported a heartbreaking incident where a 15-year-old girl was fatally stabbed in Croydon.Officials were called to Wellesley Road in South London at around 8:30 AM today, and tragically, she lost her life at the scene just after 9:20 AM.
Police have confirmed that following an investigation into the stabbing, a teenager has been apprehended.
Chief Superintendent Andy Britain stated, “In this early phase, we believe he may have known her. The crime scene will remain cordoned off for some time, and I am grateful for the support of the residents.”
He further added, “Our thoughts are with the family of this young girl who are facing the most painful news. Our officers are here to support the girl’s family.”
“I am in contact with the local community, who are understandably concerned about this tragic incident. I will keep them updated throughout the day.”
